Therapeutic Ultrasound

What it does: Uses therapeutic sound waves to deliver energy into targeted soft tissues and support the healing process.

Commonly used for: Certain muscle, tendon and other soft tissue injuries, stiffness, and areas where tissue mobility may be limited.

What it feels like: Usually very little — you may feel gentle warmth as the ultrasound head moves over the treatment area.

Used with: Exercise, manual therapy, mobility work and active rehabilitation.

Treatment goal: Support tissue recovery and mobility while helping you progress through your rehabilitation program.
