Priyanka is a physiotherapist at our Niagara-on-the-Lake clinic who brings a thoughtful, no-nonsense approach to care. She blends strong clinical skills with a background in healthcare leadership, making sure each session has a clear plan and purpose - no fluff, just progress.
She holds an Honours Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy along with an Honours Postgraduate Diploma in Healthcare Leadership from Sault College. That mix shows up in how she treats: detail-oriented, but always thinking a few steps ahead to keep things moving in the right direction over the long term.
Priyanka began her physiotherapy career in India, where she led a team of physiotherapists and worked on-field with professional athletes from Pune City Football Club. That experience helped shape her treatment philosophy, one built around strategic clinical decision-making, hands-on care, and the safe return of athletes to high-level performance. She has worked extensively with runners, CrossFit athletes, and active individuals, giving her a strong understanding of the physical and mental challenges of rebuilding strength, confidence, and performance after injury.
Priyanka's experience and dedication also led to her selection as a member of our physiotherapy team supporting the Niagara River Lions during the 2026 season, where she assists with regular and shooting practices while providing athlete care alongside the rest of the medical team.
Since moving to Canada, she's stepped into senior and leadership roles across clinics in the GTA, supporting both clients and clinicians. She brings that same level of ownership into every session, engaged, and invested in helping people actually move forward.
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
Priyanka is also a rostered pelvic health physiotherapist in Ontario, having completed Level I training through Pelvic Health Solutions. She works with clients dealing with a range of pelvic health concerns in a space that's private, supportive, and straightforward.
Her treatment approach goes beyond isolated pelvic floor work. She looks at how the entire system functions together (breathing, core control, strength, and movement patterns) and builds a plan that fits into real life.
She treats:
- Urinary incontinence (including leakage with exercise or daily activity)
- Pelvic pain and pressure
- Pre- and post-natal recovery
- Core and pelvic floor dysfunction
- Return to exercise after pregnancy or injury
- Postpartum strength and rebuilding
Her focus is on giving clients control back by understanding what's going on, building strength where it's needed, and creating a plan that actually sticks.
Outside the clinic, Priyanka is always planning her next trip. She's travelled across Canada, Egypt, India, Mexico, and Cuba, and brings that same openness and energy into how she connects with people. Easy to talk to, quick to listen, and fully in your corner when it comes to your care.
